About the role
Own the upstream side of the chain. Develop and maintain relationships with growers across Egypt, secure consistent quality at the field level, and feed the processing and IQF lines with raw produce that meets customer specs.
What you'll own
- Develop a network of trusted growers across key Egyptian regions
- Coordinate harvest windows with processing capacity
- Run field-level quality assurance before product enters the chain
- Negotiate seasonal contracts and forecast supply availability
- Work cross-functionally with the freezing arm on volume planning
What we're looking for
- Background in agricultural sourcing or procurement, ideally in produce
- Deep familiarity with Egyptian agricultural regions and growing seasons
- Arabic and English working fluency
- Comfortable in the field and on the production floor in equal measure
